The 2009-2010 Grand National Watercolor Exhibition was hung at the Mississippi Museum of Art in downtown Jackson from October 4, 2009 - January 3, 2010.  Eighty-eight artists in twenty states entered 211 paintings for the juried show.   Of the 211 paintings, fifty-nine were shown at the Exhibition, and eighteen of these were by Mississippi artists. The judge for the 2009 Grand National was Don Andrews, AWS.  Nine paintings received monetary awards; the top three awards were funded by the MSWS.
