2010-2011 GRAND NATIONAL EXHIBITION
The 2010-2011 Grand National Watercolor Exhibition was hung at the Mississippi Museum of Art in downtown Jackson from October 2, 2010 - January 2, 2011. This exhibition was the twenty-fifth Grand National for the MSWS. Eighty-two artists in twenty-four states entered 135 paintings for the juried show. Of the 135 paintings, fifty-five of them were shown at the Exhibition and fourteen were by Mississippi artists. The judge for the 2010 Grand National was Judi Coffey, NWS. Thirteen paintings received monetary awards totaling $6,800; the top three awards totaling $3,300 were funded by the MSWS.
