24–Museum begins shipping all paintings.

8–One day workshop by Martha Andre, “Painting on Yupo”

23–Members meeting at Welty Library (2:00) with program by Cathy Hegman. Board meeting at 1:00.

July

1–Deadline for copy for Summer Newsletter

10–Deadline for receiving slides, fees, forms and a stamped, self-addressed envelop for the Grand National.

16–General Meeting, Eudora Welty Library, 2:00 p.m. Topic: Slides for the Grand National Show will be shown.

August

2–Artist notification mailed.

September

1–Set up for Juried Membership Show, Municipal Art Gallery. 10:00.until 2:00.

5–Hand delivered paintings due at Mississippi Museum of Art for Grand National from 10:00 until noon or from 1:00 until 4:00.

5-10–All paintings due at Mississippi Museum of Art for Grand National. No sooner than September 5 and no later than September 10.

10–Reception at Municipal Art Gallery for Member’s Show from 2:00 until 4:00.

27-30–Workshop led by Frank Francese, the judge at the Grand National Exhibition at the Ascension Lutheran Church.

30–Take down paintings at the Municipal Art Gallery, 9:00 until 12:00.

October

1–Deadline for copy for fall newsletter.

8–Opening reception for Grand National at Mississippi Museum of Art from 2:00 until 4:00.

December

1– Deadline for copy for Winter Newsletter

January, 2007

7–Last day of Grand National.

8–Pick-up hand delivered paintings from 10:00 to noon or from 1:00 until 4:00.

17–Museum begins shipping all paintings.
